BRIEF: Goldfish crackers are being recalled due to possible salmonella contamination
Belleville News-Democrat - 7/24/2018
July 24--Pepperidge Farm is recalling a variety of Goldfish crackers due to a possible salmonella contamination.
One of the ingredient suppliers notified Pepperidge Farm that the whey powder used in a seasoning may have been contaminated by salmonella. The manufacturer is voluntarily recalling four varieties of Goldfish crackers that were distributed throughout the United States in a variety of packaging.
Included in the recall are Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers in resealable bags, cartons and multi-packs, with cheddar, sour cream and onion, pretzel and other flavors.
Consumers should not eat the product and can return to the store or fill out an online information form with Pepperidge Farm for a refund.
